FOLK offering scholarships
Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.) is offering up to $6,000 in scholarships to students pursuing a master’s degree in library and information science at the University of Hawaii or an American Library Association accredited online program.
Candidates must be Hawaii residents and be enrolled at the University of Hawaii or in an American Library Association MLIS program for the fall semester. Applicant must complete and submit all required materials by April 30. Preference will be given to Hawaii Island residents. Scholarships will be awarded by June 3.
